Composer in Residence at Yellow Barn
Arlene Sierra will be Composer in Residence at the Yellow Barn Music Festival in July 2013.
Yellow Barn is an international center for chamber music in Putney, Vermont, encouraging discovery in the studio, classroom, and concert hall. Since the 1970s, composers of all nationalities have enriched Yellow Barn’s summer season with their music, the work they do with musicians, and interactions with audiences. This year, Arlene Sierra’s residency week includes an evening dedicated to the performance and discussion of her music, and programming of her works for soloists and ensembles in three other chamber concerts.
