Bridge Records’ second series disc Arlene Sierra, Vol. 2 receives a substantial grant from the Aaron Copland Fund 2012 Recording Programme, whose objectives are:
To document and provide wider exposure for the music of contemporary American composers
To develop audiences for contemporary American music through distribution of recorded performances in physical and online media
To support the production of new recordings of contemporary American music and the reissuance of significant recordings that are no longer available
The second volume and first major orchestral disc from the Arlene Sierra series by Bridge Records, the project is made possible with major funding by the Aaron Copland Fund Recording Program, as well as a substantial grant from the New Music USA CAP Recording Program, and support from the Classical Recording Foundation.
