A new addition to the critically-acclaimed Bridge Records portrait series, Arlene Sierra Volume 4 will focus on the composer's work for piano featuring soloists Sarah Cahill and Steven Beck.		  
     
  Kiskadee – Detroit Symphony / Toulmin Commission
A new work for the Detroit Symphony, with further performances scheduled with four additional US orchestras as part of the Toulmin Commissioning programme

A new piano album based on the latest research into female birdsong. Commissioned by the Barbican Centre, London for soloist Sarah Cahill		  
     
Maya Deren series
Continuing from her successful rescorings of the films Meditation on Violence and Ritual in Transfigured Time for Lontano and the Goldfield Ensemble respectively, Sierra recently completed Studies in Choreography, the third in a series of new scores for chamber ensembles, set to Maya Deren's expressive and surreal films from the 1940's and 50's. The next score in the series will be set to Deren's masterpiece At Land.
